Culion Health is the doctors' partner in managing TB patients
We understand the doctors' needs when it comes to managing TB patients.
As a referring doctor, we offer the following referral benefits:
- Management of your TB patient according to the DOH Manual of Procedures (co-developed with medical societies such as the Philippine College of Chest Physicians and Philippine Pediatric Society)
- Navigation of your patient to the diagnostic algorithm of the local government unit. We are closely coordinated with the local city health office, and we know the local protocols set by the TB program implementors.
- Free medicine for your patient, up to six months (ten months for some extrapulmonary TB cases).
- Free laboratory services for your patients (Xpert testing for presumptive TB, direct sputum smear microscopy on follow up)
- Monetary incentive for each referred confirmed case of TB, either bacteriologically confirmed or clinically diagnosed (incentives are DOH- and PhilHealth approved).
- Active monitoring of your patients, to ensure the adherence and completion of treatment.
- Patient-centered clinic facility, providing comfort, privacy, and convenience for your patients.
- Free services for your patients, ensuring that TB management will not be a financial burden for them.
- Updates on the status of the patients during the treatment.
